Absolute Legends called in there for 5 mins to see if my dual battery system was stuffed, they diagnosed the problem fixed it(it was embarrassing, I didn't rehook it up to terminal after last time I undone my battery terminals), hooked her up for me and sent me on my way, without wanting anything for it!! Absolutely outstanding service. Had an issue with our 12V systems in our caravan whilst staying at Sawtell. Thought we needed 3 new batteries. Rang Battery Boys at Coffs and the owner Michael subsequently attended our caravan site (promptly and ringing whilst en route to advise ETA) where he quickly diagnosed that it wasn’t the batteries but a connection which had degraded and come apart. 10 minutes later after connection and re-attached the job was done and everything was working 100% . His honest assessment quickly identified we didn’t need new batteries and he ensured that everything was working perfectly before he left. This was all done at a fraction of the quoted cost in an efficient, friendly and highly professional manner. I dropped in yesterday unannounced and was met with a smile and a can-do attitude. A quick test of the battery revealed it was indeed at the end of its serviceable life. They had the battery in stock and it was fitted for free in five minutes. I have waited longer for a coffee. But the main reason I wrote a review is because I want to acknowledge the wonderful service with a smile. It isn't as common as it should be lately. Highly recommended.read more

Purchased a new Victron (an expensive and usually reliable brand) charger, new charger died that night, I took it back and even though Victron usually take a week to get a replacement back they were happy to give me a replacement of the shelf to get me on the way, without any hassles. Could not be any happier with the service i received at the Battery Boys. I recently bought a camper van thats had a DYI solar system installed by the previous owner which is little short of a nightmare. My whole system died on me mid way through a camping festival. On my way home i dropped into the Battery Boys, Matt diagnosed the problem within about 5min and had solution to get me back up and running and all at a very reasonable price.
